Weddings

Congratulations! And thank you for your interest in having one of our pastors officiate your wedding ceremony at Faith Church. Each year we receive many inquiries about weddings.  However due to the many programs and activities we have at Faith, we primarily  accept only those wedding requests from members and those with a long standing connection with the church as time allows on our church calendar.  It is necessary that one of our pastors be the officiating clergy at all weddings. Non-member weddings will be considered based on availability of facility and schedule of pastors. Please contact us with a request for our wedding booklet at faithumc@faith-umc.com if you would like more information.

Each engaged couple will complete premarital assessments and engage in one to two premarital counseling sessions prior to their wedding as well. We will give you detailed instructions each step of the way.

Baptisms

Baptism is the beginning of a journey in the nurturing fellowship of a caring, learning, worshiping and serving congregation. Children and adults are welcome here at Faith Church. If you wish to learn more about a child or adult being baptized, please contact us.

Communion

The table of Holy Communion is Christ’s table. The table is open to anyone who seeks to respond to Christ’s love and to lead a new life of peace and love. All are welcome to partake in this means of grace regardless of age, race or religion.  Holy Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month and during some special services.
